Plugins Configuration

You can add your own plugins to sdns. The plugin order is very important. The orders of plugins and middlewares will effect each other. Config keys should be string and values can be anything. The plugins will load before cache middleware with their orders.

Plugin interface is very simple. For more information, you can look the example plugin

Example Config

[plugins]
     [plugins.example]
     path = "/myplugindir/exampleplugin.so"
     config = {key_1 = "value_1",intkey = 2,boolkey = true,keyN = "nnn"}
     [plugins.another]
     path = "/myplugindir/anotherplugin.so"

  • Request to add forwarding dns function

    Request to add forwarding dns function

    Currently the sdns program does not support the forwarding of dns query functions. For example, I can forward all dns domain name queries to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 for resolution.

    version mismatch

    I downloaded 0.2.2 from the releases page. Started it up. wrote a config file with this at the top:

    version = "0.2.1"

    I should add that the first time I run it, it doesn't work. I have to quit/restart and then it starts working.

    Hi! I like sdns, thank you for making it. I am an Arch user (btw :wink:) and have published sdns as a package on the Arch User Repository. This pull request adds the AUR as an installation method for sdns, feel free to make any edits!

    Invalid DNSSEC answer returned from cache

    If I start sdns and then query:

    dig +cd dnssec.fail @localhost -p 1053
    dig  dnssec.fail @localhost -p 1053

    The latter returns a response while the answer is actually invalid, but has been put in the cache because of +cd (checking disabled).

    Support for caching dependency files and compiler's build outputs

    This release introduces support for caching dependency files and compiler's build outputs #228. For that action uses @toolkit/cache library under the hood that in turn allows getting rid of configuring @actions/cache action separately and simplifies the whole workflow.

    Such input parameters as cache and cache-dependency-path were added. The cache input is optional, and caching is turned off by default, cache-dependency-path is used to specify the path to a dependency file - go.sum.

    Examples of use-cases:

    • cache input only:
    steps:
    - uses: actions/[email protected]
    - uses: actions/[email protected]
      with:
        go-version: '18'
        cache: true

    • cache along with cache-dependency-path:
    steps:
    - uses: actions/[email protected]
    - uses: actions/[email protected]
      with:
        go-version: '18'
        cache: true
        cache-dependency-path: subdir/go.sum

    Add go-version-file input

    Adding Go version file support

    In scope of this release we add the go-version-file input. The new input (go-version-file) provides functionality to specify the path to the file containing Go version with such behaviour:

    • If the file does not exist the action will throw an error.
    • If you specify both go-version and go-version-file inputs, the action will use value from the go-version input and throw the following warning: Both go-version and go-version-file inputs are specified, only go-version will be used.
    • For now the action supports .go-version and go.mod files.
    steps:
     - uses: actions/[email protected]
     - uses: actions/[email protected]
       with:
         go-version-file: 'path/to/go.mod'
     - run: go version

    Bump github.com/BurntSushi/toml from 1.0.0 to 1.2.0

    Bumps github.com/BurntSushi/toml from 1.0.0 to 1.2.0.

    Release notes

    Sourced from github.com/BurntSushi/toml's releases.

    Release v1.2.0

    This release adds a few additional features:

    • Support encoding and decoding json.Number, making interoperability with JSON when using json.Encoder.UseNumber() easier.

    • Support time.Duration string format; an integer will be interpreted as nanoseconds (like before), but a string like "5h" will be parsed. On encoding the string format is used.

    • The omitempty struct tag now also works for structs with all zero values, for example an empty time.Time. A struct is considered "empty" when all fields (exported and private) are the zero value.

    • Allow using interface{} (or any) as the map key when decoding.

    And some fixes:

    • Fix encoding.TextUnmarshaler not working for map values.

    • Make encoding.TextUnmarshaler and toml.Unmarshaler work if MarshalText() or MarshalTOML() have a pointer receiver.

    • Error out on nil returns from MarshalTOML/MarshalText; before they would get encoded as invalid TOML (keyname =).

    • Fix a panic where it would try to encode array = [{}, 0] as:

      [[array]]
      [[array]]

      Which isn't valid as 0 isn't a table.

    • Some better error reporting for some errors.

    v1.1.0

    Just a few bugfixes:

    • Skip fields with toml:"-" even when they're unsupported types. Previously something like this would fail to encode due to func being an unsupported type:

      struct {
          Str  string `toml:"str"
          Func func() `toml:"-"`
      }

    • Multiline strings can't end with \. This is valid:

      # Valid
      key = """ foo \
      """

      Invalid

      key = """ foo \ """

    • Don't quote values in TOMLMarshaler. Previously they would always include quoting (e.g. "value"), while the entire point of this interface is to bypass that.

  • Bump actions/setup-go from 2 to 3.2.1

    Bump actions/setup-go from 2 to 3.2.1

    Bumps actions/setup-go from 2 to 3.2.1.

    Release notes

    Sourced from actions/setup-go's releases.

    Update actions/cache version to 3.0.0

    In scope of this release we updated actions/cache package as the new version contains fixes for caching error handling

    Support for caching dependency files and compiler's build outputs

    This release introduces support for caching dependency files and compiler's build outputs #228. For that action uses @toolkit/cache library under the hood that in turn allows getting rid of configuring @actions/cache action separately and simplifies the whole workflow.

    Such input parameters as cache and cache-dependency-path were added. The cache input is optional, and caching is turned off by default, cache-dependency-path is used to specify the path to a dependency file - go.sum.

    Examples of use-cases:

    • cache input only:
    steps:
    - uses: actions/[email protected]
    - uses: actions/[email protected]
      with:
        go-version: '18'
        cache: true

    • cache along with cache-dependency-path:
    steps:
    - uses: actions/[email protected]
    - uses: actions/[email protected]
      with:
        go-version: '18'
        cache: true
        cache-dependency-path: subdir/go.sum

    Add go-version-file input

    Adding Go version file support

    In scope of this release we add the go-version-file input. The new input (go-version-file) provides functionality to specify the path to the file containing Go version with such behaviour:

    • If the file does not exist the action will throw an error.
    • If you specify both go-version and go-version-file inputs, the action will use value from the go-version input and throw the following warning: Both go-version and go-version-file inputs are specified, only go-version will be used.
    • For now the action supports .go-version and go.mod files.
    steps:
     - uses: actions/[email protected]
     - uses: actions/[email protected]
       with:
         go-version-file: 'path/to/go.mod'
     - run: go version

    ... (truncated)
